ZHP is a Joint-Venture constituted in 2000 between Yiwu Fine Chemical Co., Ltd and Esteve Química, S.A. The Chinese party is in close relationship with Huadong Medicine Group.
The Joint-Venture, headquartered at Yiwu City (350 km South of Shanghai), in the province of Zhejiang, has become a very important member of ESTEVE in Asia.
With 260 persons and a total surface of 73,000 m², the plant is adopting advanced technologies and scientific management methods from both parties. With a reaction capacity of 275 m³, the plant has incorporated a professional working team for the development, production and commercialization of Advanced Intermediates or Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients for the Pharmaceutical industry.
This plant has been designed with separate workshops, allowing total flexibility for dedicated single-purpose and multi-purpose units.
A wide range of reactors (Stainless steel, Glass-lined type) from 10 l to 3000 l affords great flexibility for the synthesis of advanced intermediates or active pharmaceutical ingredients. The workshops are fully equipped with auxiliary equipment (centrifuges and dryers) to isolate the product under cGMPs.
The ZHP team is strongly supported by Esteve Química's Quality departments to ensure strict compliance with cGMPs.
The plant is in full compliance with the current local environmental regulations and has its own Biological wastewater treatment plant, as well as several distillation columns for solvent recovery.
