This plant was acquired by Esteve Química (EQ) in 1991, and is located in Naucalpan de Juarez, in the metropolitan area of Mexico City. The installations cover an area of 8,000 m² with a built area of 11,000 m² where approximately 90 people work.
This plant is equipped with a wide range of reactors (stainless steel and glass lined) ranging from 0.4 to 8 m³ which offer major flexibility for synthesising products in various phases for reactions ranging between -10ºC and 150ºC. The plant has a total reaction volume of 113 m³, and is fitted with all the necessary auxiliary equipment (centrifuges, filters and dryers) for isolating the finished product.
This plant operates under the principle of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), has been approved by the Mexican Health Authorities and since 1995 has been audited on a regular basis by the US Food & Drug Administration.
